Sessions and Support

Sessions for Children and Young People

There are a variety of sessions on offer across the city for Children and Young People to attend. Click the button below to find out what is on offer for children and young people across the city.

Your Holiday Hub

If your child is in Reception to Year 11 and is in receipt of benefits-related free school meals, you can search this website for fully-funded activities and clubs for them to attend during the school holidays. Anyone that isn’t eligible can search the paid-for listings that sit alongside the free sessions and take part in lots of additional activities during the holidays.

Bristol’s SEND Local Offer

Bristol’s SEND Local Offer website is a single place of information about services and support for children and young people from birth to 25 years old who have Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND), and for their families and carers.

Family Hubs

Family Hubs can give you information and support about anything relating to you and your family. There are 3 family hubs based across the city: Barton Hill, Hartcliffe and Southmead. For more information you can visit the Bristol City Council website.

Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers

Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. But, we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges. Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your young person’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.

Drugs and Substance Misuse

Bristol Drugs Project (BDP) is a charity providing harm reduction and treatment services for people who are experiencing a negative relationship with drugs and/or alcohol. With 36 years of experience, our goal is to support people towards the changes they want to see in their lives no matter what they may be.
